Things about me
I often get frustrated when blogs don’t have an ‘about’ page, though I don’t know what I want them to say.
I guess this: I’m Dory, I’m a PhD student, I live in Brooklyn.
I am a card-carrying member of the Bed-Stuy YMCA, the Park Slope Food Coop, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Brooklyn Public Library, the New York Public Library, AsiaMIles, and the British Columbia Automobile Association.
I’m running the Philadelphia Marathon in November! It will be my first Marathon, and I’m training with Team in Training to raise money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, and you can donate on my behalf here.
My current primary bicycle is a black Raleigh called “Ghosthorse.”
